Use Facetime over 3G using iPhone 4′s Wi-Fi Personal Hotspot Do you want to create Facetime 3G calls between Apple iPhone and some other Apple devices that are running on iOS4 using Personal Hotspot then you have come to the right place.  Image Credit: http://www.iphoneincanada.ca Although there are some anomalies in iPhone 4 calls because it doesn't allow you to converse using Facetime with friends and family using other iOS4 devices like Apple iPad or Apple iPod Touch etc. over 3G networks. However you can turn on the Personal Hotspot feature on iPhone, then connect it to iPad 2 and make as much video calls you want. Set up Personal Wi-Fi Hotspot on Apple iPhone It is quite simple to turn your Apple iPhone into a Personal Wi-Fi Hotspot in iOS4. Step 1: From Homescreen launch the setting application Step 2: While in setting tap on Personal Hotspot and toggle it on
 Image Credit: http://www.tipb.com/ Step 3: If Wi-Fi is off, a pop up would come that'll ask you to enable it Step 4: You Setup Wi-Fi would ask to use a password to your connection, it already has a default password but if you would to make it a little more stronger… just add a custom one Step 5: Once you are done with configure Apple iPhone 4 Wi-Fi Hotspot go to your Windows PC or MAC and see whether your Wi-Fi Hotspot has been listed in the networks available Step 6: If the network is available turn it on and that is it, it would ask you a password and a blue bar would come up in your Apple iPhone 4 that would tell you connection has been made That's it. By following above mentioned 6 Steps you would be able to create a 3G powered Wi-Fi hotspot on your Apple iPhone 4 and connect it with your Windows PC or MAC. Using the same procedure, the same connection can be developed between Apple iPhone 4 and other iOS4 devices. Once this connection has been made, you can select your iPhone Network and use as much Facetime as you can. The quality of these calls are good, try them for yourself. Other than using Wi-Fi Personal Hotspot on Apple iPhone you can also go for Jailbreak 3G.
