| Eton Axis ARCPT300W Self-powered Safety Hub Posted: 18 Mar 2011 03:36 AM PDT Eton and American Red Cross have partnered to release the Axis ARCPT300W self-powered safety hub.The device can be powered from three different sources – self-Powered aluminum crank with hand turbine technology, from 3 AAA batteries and from AC Power. The Axis supports AM and FM radio and offers access to all seven channels of the NOAA weatherband. It has built-in white LED flashlight and a USB port that can be used for charging cellphone. The Eton Axis ARCPT300W is available for pre-order at Amazon for $69.99.

The cosmetically customizable camera features a new removable PENTAX-original faceplate system with a no-hassle screwless faceplate design and interchangable lens ring snap to hold custom skins of any personal choice or design. The 14 Megapixel RS1500 sports a 4x optical zoom lens with 27.5mm wide angle and a 3-inch LCD display. It features advanced automatic Face Detection AF&AE function; Auto Picture mode to automatically select the most appropriate shooting mode for a given subject or scene; nine digital filters including Toy Camera, Retro and Sepia; and 1280x720p video recording capability. The lightweight, credit card-sized Pentax Optio RS1500 comes with a choice of 10 included skins, and a new, removable lens ring in a choice of two colors. | Sierra Wireless OverDrive Pro 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot Posted: 17 Mar 2011 10:55 PM PDT Sprint is launching the new OverDrive Pro 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot by Sierra Wireless. While the old OverDrive 3G/4G can share 3G/4G connection to five WiFi-enabled devices, the new Pro version connects to eight simultaneously. The OverDrive Pro 3G/4G supports Sprint’s 3G CDMA EVDO and 4G WiMax networks and WiFi 802.11n standard for wider compatibility with new Wi-Fi devices. The mobile hotspot offers up to 150 foot range for Wi-Fi connection and includes GPS support and location-based services. It has an integrated LCD display to provide information users need to connect and monitor connection, and a microSD card slot. Here are renders of HTC’s three upcoming smartphone devices, Pyramid, Prime and Ignite, posted on Chinese site xda.cn. The Pyramid is an Android phone powered by dual-core processor. It has a 4.3-inch large 960×540 touchscreen, a 8 Megapixel main camera, a 1.3 Megapixel front camera.  HTC Prime render
The Prime and Ignite, on the other hand, will be mid-range Windows Phone 7 devices. The former comes with a side-slide QWERTY keyboard, like the 7 Pro. Like the other Sidekick phones, the new Android-powered Sidekick 4G comes with a “pop-tilt” five-row QWERTY keyboard, combined with the Sidekick Group Text and Cloud Text to redefine messaging. The new Sidekick features a 3.5-inch touchscreen, a 3 Megapixel main camera, a VGA front-facing camera for video chat, and WiFi connectivity.
